Advance Yoga Teachers Training Course (AYTTC)

Our Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Training Course is a unique course, designed for only the most serious and dedicated yoga teachers and aspirants. The student of this course should be a regular Yoga practitioner of basic Hatha Yoga. The course aims to emphasis the deeper understanding of classical Hatha Yoga, incorporating a 75% practical and 25% theoretical course structure.

Course content
The main purpose of advanced Yoga practice is for internal cleansing. The systematic and regular practice of classical asanas, pranayama, kriyas, mudras, bandhas and deeper relaxation techniques will help to eliminate the toxins from the body thereby improving the immune system.

The speciality of this course is an integration of traditional Hatha Yoga practice with the ancient traditional Indian martial art form called Kalarippayate.Various movements of Kalari are meditative and are visible in many Hatha Yoga practices. During the course, students will practice selected movements of Kalari for a few days to enhance their body control and balance for the preparation of advanced Yoga. Before the practice of Kalari, a specially prepared herbal oil will be massaged into the body for the purpose of eliminating the stagnant toxins which are removed by the heavy perspiration that will occur during the practice.

The second stage of advanced Hatha Yoga will develop the student’s deeper practice on the pranic level. This is the most important subtle part connected to mind. Advanced techniques of asana, pranayama, mudra and bandha, as well as various kriyas for cleansing the internal organs are the special contribution of Hatha Yoga to open the pranic channel.

Students also have an opportunity to learn a traditional Kalari massage called UZUCHILL. This is a totally different massage from the more common Ayurvedic and other traditional massages. The technique can be done by hand and foot, and we are introducing the traditional technique given by foot. In the Kalari foot massage, a specially prepared oil is used which penetrates deeper into the subtle levels within the body. It removes pranic blockages, stiffness of muscles, stress, fatigue, and body aches, etc. Thus, the body becomes much more flexible and relaxed in preparation for the advanced asana practices of Hatha Yoga.

In the third stage of the course, the focus is on deeper relaxation techniques and Mantra healing. Working in Yoga at this level allows a direct link connection to the mind.

The combination of the advanced Hatha Yoga with Kalari is an excellent way to purify the entire body. This practice improves blood circulation in all joints, cures pains, purifies the nervous system, releases body stiffness and enables better control of the sense organs.
This course will allow yoga teachers to teach beginners’ students at an advanced level.

All the Kalari movements are taught by expert Kalari gurus.
We offer this course once in a year in India, for a very, very limited and select number of students only. The daily schedule includes a 7-8 hour class and every weekend is given to the student for his personal practice or free time.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, each student will receive a diploma in their area of study. Our diploma is a highly valued and internationally recognized certification presented by International Vasishta Yoga Research Foundation.
